Yeah just for future reference, the GT42 and my S400 use the same size flanged outlet. I'm not sure if all the S400's use that same outlet though, but obviously the BFH does.
Thanks Dave and Dave good info to know. I found one local here.
Bighunter, When we first built it I went with aluminum and the tubing is not strong enough and deforms at the clamp, also I screwed up and cut the 90 too short so there is too much silicone tubing between the outlet 90 and the IC pipe. I got rid of the plumbers tape as a strapointlaugh: as it was a quick fix to keep it from blowing on the dyno that day. It has not blown the boot off since I made the new straps but the silicon tube is ballooned out of shape so I'm going to get rid of the tubing all together.
Thanks again for everyone's help.
Thats what I hate about mine, keeps blowing the boot off. Are you going to have someone weld the flange on to the turbo outlet? Let me know what they charge you, I may do the same thing!
The GT42 comes with a V band flange on the compressor outlet.
Have you tried strapping yours? I have not blown a boot since strapping the tubes but the silicon tubing is not looking real good anymore. I can make you a couple of straps pretty quick.
