2003 F250 6.0 Oil Leak

I can chase an oil leak to somewhere at the rear top of the engine. Turbo and accessories blocking my view even with a mirror. It comes from under a heat shield above the top of the bell housing when I view from underneath on the driver's side. Are there any videos/manuals that would show removal and replacement of the Turbo Charger to get a view of the area in question. I am a carpenter by trade not a mechanic and could use some help.

Is it wet toward the front of the engine?

I see alot of oil cooler gasket leaks, they start at the front and run toward the rear of the engine.

could also be a HPOP cover gasket, over time they tend to flatten out and not seal as well

I am betting either turo pedistal o-rings or HPOP line o-rings.

Look in this thread, there is a turbo removal video in there.


Never mind, just now noticed it was a 6.0

There is some oil residue in the valley between the heads. This was caused by the oil filter cannister o-ring leak which I replaced. The main leak at the top rear of the engine still persists and is much heavier than what was coming from the o-ring leak at the filter.
