Hey going to look at a 2004 f250 6.0 today. i was wondering if the rims of an 2008 f250 will fit on a 2004 f250.
I do remember a post similar to this but i cant find it. I went searching but no success.
The difference is the 2004- has a narrower axle than the 2005+. This means that using a 2004- rim on a 2005+ truck will have the wheel stick further outward than the stock setup. Using a 2005+ rim on a 2004- will have the wheel sit inboard further and will rub the leaf springs as the wheels are steered more. The use of 1" wheel spacers will be needed.
They will physicaly bolt on but the back spacing is different. you will loose turning radius unless you run spacers (tires will hit springs). and they look goofy, they will be tucked under the truck
cool thanks guys. i endend up buying the truck. ill be bringing it home hopefully wednesday. Thanks guys for all your answers
