Finally got some pictures of the Studs, being installed.
The red neck engineering that went into this was insane. Hoisted the cab up with a engine crane. propped it up with two steel bars, and then supported the body from swaying with the crossing ratchet straps you can see in picture 2.
I have a big I beam and a hoist that I use to pull motors and was wondering if I could remove the bed then just use this to lift the front of the cab up without hurting the back of the cab. Do you have any pictures of the way your cab looked?
I knew it was going to be fun but now I know it's going to be a party!! Thank god for friends willing to help for beer!! Just got to make sure they don't get drunk before it's all done! Think I will save the beer til it's done and it's running. LOLLOL
actually to be fair if you seen the heads and what they looked like coming off. the truck was obviously bathed in mud by the previous owner the heat and the mud and moisture got to the heads and exhaust manifolds and what I ended up with does not look pretty.
