Well first off, I have a friend who told me I could have two diesel motors that have been sitting at his house for years. One is an In-Line four cylinder CAT motor, with a Garret turbo on it, and the other is an older Ford In-Line four cylinder. He thinks that they are good, but which one is better, assuming they both are in fair shape? I dont know if the ford has a turbo on it, because it is laying on its side, but I will find out tommorow, and take some pictures. And does anyone make motor mounts and transmission adapter for these motors?
Good luck, there is nothing that you can plug and play so to speak. Lots to fabricate. YOu will have better luck with the Ford motor most likely. There are a bunch of Diesel rangers in south and central America, so you might get lucky and have some mount ideas with the right motor. I like the idea though. LOL
Yeah, I would love to something like yours, but I dont have the time or money. Nice truck though
