that's a negative. can't afford the studs right now plus the gaskets are fine so I'd have to pay extra for them to do it. also tech has never studded a psd so i passed. i mentioned deleting the egr and he kinda dodged the question. it doesn't seem like these guys are big in doing anything that isn't by the book.
bedplate leak. they have to remove pretty much everything. the tech tells me this is one of the most extensive repairs that they'll do. i'm already nervous enough so i went in to meet the guys doing the repair. they assured me that this really isn't as bad as it looks and they promise to get everything back together properly. It probably doesn't hurt that I'm taking them beer and some other goodies too.
it seems like they're taking good care of it. Probably doesn't hurt that I'm taking a little extra care of the techs. got a call this morning and it's all back together. should get it back this afternoon....finally!
If I had my truck down that far and was in need of a set I'd beg, borrow, and steal to get a set of ARP's in it.
