does anyone else notic that thier 6.0s run better at a quarter tank verses full. when i say better i mean snappier and the milege gets better let me know post it up
well id say its because diesel fuel probably weighs about 7 pounds/gallon...
so if you had a 36 gallon tank...that would be 252 pounds
if you only had 9 gallons in it...that would be 63 pounds
that is a difference of 189 pounds...maybe that is the answer?
not sure if u could feel that difference as far as sotp is concerned...considering i cant tell a difference when my someone is in the passenger seat...but it could explain a small increase in mileage
in diesel trucks i think it is 200 lbs for a 1/10th, as for the snappier and mileage it does seem to work out that way at 1/4 tank even pulling a trailor
