ARP's or H-11's with stock gaskets. It is critical when doing it thought that you get your heads decked at a proficient machine shop. Also, if using ARP's it is very important that you torque them just as it says in the directions and only torque them to the values stated in the directions (245 ft/lbs iirc).
stock head gaskets, with arp studs, the recommended torque is 245 on them,:blah::doh:LOL, they hold well, it doesn't say it in the instructions, but when bolting them down, step torque them, you know like 50,100,150,200,250, pull the head down evenlly
Bring this thread back to life after 5 years LOL. Oem is just proven to be reliable over other gaskets out there. It's also something that nobody want to do twice so they usually go with what's known to work.
