heres a couple of videos, i have to get the air out of the oil rails yet and fix a couple exhaust leaks, then i'll get better video of the truck driving and spooling
How are you keeping that truck from using coolant? I know of a few truck, 1 even has firerings, that are puking with bigger turbos and injectors. They are all studded and have the EGR deleted.
Just a local guy here in Fort McMurray with WAY too much extra cash!!! Don't mess with the Fords in this town....there are three of us with compounds now...
If I could spool a 66mm to 15psi on the brakes, the 62/70 should easily be able to spool off the line.
If not: Change gear ratios, tire size, or torque converters.
I also have a 66 mm turbo but its a 66/74 and i cant get over 5lbs on the brake, now that i think about it, if it is used on a stock truck im positive it will spool over 15lbs on the line. thx
There is a happy spot when foot fueling it...if you go too far, it basically falls on it's face, and dies...but if you hold the throttle in the right spot, it builds fast...then just let 'er rip.
I am a tard and have a question about terminology.
When you say "5psi on the brake" or "15psi on the brake" are you meaning thats all the boost you can get while "power braking" it or that is all the boost you can get before it over powers the brakes?
With the truck in park and just reving it up we can get upto 10psi boost. While power breaking anything over 25psi boost the brakes won't hold the truck back. If the brakes could hold we could get way more than 25 while power breaking
Linelock basically applys max brake pressure correct so if you are pushing more power than the brakes can handle I don't think it will help.
I amy be wrong on that assumption.
