Hello All,
I was wondering how many of you have used teh Hypermax head Gaskets on your 6.0. Mine is whistling and before I get out factory 3/36 warranty my friend at a Ford stealership wants to change the gaskets and install ARP studs and I will probably do a EGR delete and a new regulated fuel line set up as well sisnce the cab will be off.What is the majority running on high HP 6.0's?
Stick with factory gaskets and ARP headstuds. When Hypermax gaskets let go they always take out the rad also and that gets pricey in a hurry. I've been running stock gaskets with ARP headstuds all year and had no issues.
If you don't mind me asking, what does it cause to go the firering route?? That what I really want to do along with studs..... and then fog the hell out of it!!:rockwoot:
