i have a 2004 6.0l with the 6spd manual. when ever i have it at full throttle for more than three gears the clutch pedal sticks down. then clutch is still engaged but i have to pull the pedal back up with my foot. could this be the slave cylinder going out? any help would be appreciated
I would replace the slave cylinder, they tend to go out frequently ford has crappy clutch hydralics
How well does the clutch grab when you pull the pedal back up with your foot
Go to Ford and buy a master and slave that is complete. It comes pre bleed from the factory. It takes about ten mins to replace. Very easy. I tried to bleed a slave and it was a pain. Less then a 100 bucks it is well worth it. I carry a spare in my truck. After losing mine towing 14,000Lbs. I had to spend 4000 dollors on a tranny.
Yes the little resivor on the side of the brake master cylinder. It had a hard tube down the the slave. very simple to change.
