alright my truck is going in for some more lift probably the end of this or next week just gotta see when i can drop it off...its at 8'' right now on BDS lift kit with 37s and looks like the front is a bit lower, i want to run 40s on my 24s or 41s on 20s (with no trimming) so im lifting the front another 4'' to be at 12" total up front....my question is i like the truck to sit a little bit lower in the rear, my friend had 10'' up front and 8'' in the rear of his 05 and it sat completly level measurement wise but looked to me like the front sat a tad lower still so if anyone has pics of there trucks with 3'' or 4'' higher in the front to give me a idea what it will look like id appreciate it.
if worse comes to worse and no one has pictures of this ill just bring it back and get the rear lifted a little probably 2'' so its at 12 up front and 10 in the rear depending how it looks once the front is done with the rear at 8'' still
thanks guys
When my truck had a leveling kit and no rear lift it sat an inch higher in the front, and definitely had the cali lean but not too extreme. If you really want it to sag make the back 2" lower. 3 or 4" lower would look ridiculous, I don't think you'd like it.
Your friend with 10" up front and 8" rear probably had an F-350, which are 2 inches higher in the back than a 250 to begin with, so technically it was still a 10" lift front and rear.
The ass end isn't "dragging" but that's ok, and most trucks come stock with 20s now same as most cars, this isn't 1990 anymore..oh well u can hate that's fine I get compliments on the truck all the time and I built it to my standards not yours so hate away, ur useless opinions are not going to change my personal preferences.
Just had to give my ******* reply. I like smaller rims as they are a little more protected off road. I do have some good lookin cousins and I did meet my wife at a family reunion
If you like small rims that's fine, the problem is when u think everyone who doesn't like them is wrong
