I have an 04 350 with 6.0L. I use the Livewire and noticed that it can estimate HP and TQ. I dont know if anyone has tryed this setting but everytime I try to get a reading I get something completely different. what is it asking you to do, to get an accurate reading? I have been starting from a complete stop and just going hammer down. Is there a different way to be testing, or is it even remotely accurate?
It's not that accurate. Some accelerometers are more accurate than others. You have to have the weight, drivetrain loss, etc. correct. I have an iPhone app that has been closer than the G-Tech and other devices I've used.
Dynolicious. You need the iPhone mounted straight up and calibratated. Make sure it can't move, like on a loose bracket. I have mine velcro'd firmly on the dash. I dyno'd 767rwhp and the app showed 778rwhp.
My '04 Supercab short-bed 4x4 is 6900lbs with everything out of it, tailgate off, no spare, no bed liner, and no back seat. I think you need to go up a little.
Eic, Always has to have the latest and greatest LOL
I am trying to keep up with the Eldreths' LOL
