All depends on the truck. Some puke, some don't. Personally the puking doesn't bother me very much. I just keep the resivoir level very low and it rarely pukes at all. That said, I am going to stud in the next couple of months since I'll be adding more power.
I think it is a matter of time. The bolts are the same on all years, just better gaskets on the 05+. I'd be making sure I had a dealer lined up to do the re and re if the gaskets let go, and will install studs.
1) run the piss out of it
2) pop the gasket
3) take truck to dealer
4) hand him studs under the table
5) pick up truck and drive the fukk out of it some more
It took 76K but mine finally popped.Studs are the way to go and if you get a chance to do them under warranty get them done.You never know how much power youre gonna put to that motor.
