I have a 2005 6.0 and its been over heating everynow and then. I just got back from a trip in Pennsylvania and is overheated a few time coming down the mountains. then when i got i florida on flat straight roads it starts overheating again. just had the whole engine rebuilt at the dealer about 10,000 miles ago. tock it back and the dealer says that its my driving thats causing it. I was in cruise controle at 70 mph everytime it overheated. Need help please.
It could be alot of things, all have been mentioned above. Check coolant temp vs. oil temp in the pids menu, if you have above 10 degree difference, start there, replace the engine oil cooler.
