My 04 ex doesnt turn like my 08 did. Is it possible to up the psi on these? I know on my old mud trucks i could just put a washer in behind the spring and it would bost the pressure and make it turn alot easyer.
i dont think so i would try to change the fluid out burnt atf just dont do as good of job as new. could be the pump or booster getting weak also. just a thought but im pretty positive you cant adjust the pressure.
At 30,000 miles I changed the powersteering fluid with mercon v. New fluid made the steering noticably better. Putting about 6 or 8 ounces of 75w-90 gear oil helped even more.
I do this every 30,000 miles. Im at 96,000 miles now.
I don't no about the oil in there I would go with a synthetic ATF. Even tho the oil is synthetic it's still alot different then ATF and it never holds up in power steering systems from my experience.
