A friend owns and operates Evolution Machine & Fabrication here locally to me in Alberta. Has built a hydro assist kit entirely in house for superduties. Using a balanced double ended ram with ball socket ends to replace the drag link.
If anyone skis here you may have heard of Sunshine Mountain here in the rockies. they have an F350 and an Excursion as mountain mules. They attach Mattracs to them all winter to run around up and down the mountain. year after year after year, they would obviously go through 3 or 4 pumps per year and countless front end parts in the stock setup.
So Sunshine village approached EMF to build a very very substantial hydro assist for them. So He did, they've been abused 2 winters now on the hill. no parts failures. no more pump failures.
