Your steering will be a little less responsive , not as tight . It will be o.k. for a few days . You could always cut it and sleeve it if you have time and a welder .
I thought about cutting it and putting a sleeve on it. When I put the tracking bar in how do I know when the rear is centered under truck. Will it automatically center itself or will I have to measure somewhere and use adjustment on bar to move it where it needs to be
lots of leaf sprung vehicles don't have trac bars
Ford is really the only one I know of that had them on all their trucks
and I never quite figured out why ?
If you try to drive one with out it that's supposed to have it you will find out why. I tried driving mine to work and ended up turning around and coming back to get my sons car. Definitely didn't feel right.
I agree with these guys, you will wear items out ALOT quicker IE: your steering box will end up being replaced, drag links, sway bar links, etc etc.... it puts ALOT of strain where it doesn't need to be, plus the fact that the axle will move left and right every time you go to make a turn in either direction. don't do it, just order an adjustable and wait for it to come in or with to do your lift until your adjustable comes in.
