I have a 2008 F250 CC, Stock Heights, Stock Wheels and would like to improve the ride quality, what are my choices? I dont plan on lifting the truck but would like to smooth out the ride...
You could lower it some using gas springs up front and removing the rear block. Removing the block won't help, but the gas springs up front will big time.
Someone posted this a while back. I cant remember exactly who but I did talk to them and they said that they did buy them and worked perfect. They are 4800lb springs.
I had 4400lb springs up front and I would hit the bump stops anytime I went over a decent sized bump. I recommend going with the 4800-5200lb springs to prevent this. I think the only concern you should have with towing would be how low you go in the rear.
If you want to maintain stock ride height you could put in the 4800lb. springs and a leveling kit. If I wasn't lowering mine that's what I had planned on doing.
