I used the search here and read some comments on the ones from eBay but it was from along time ago. Has anybody used the ones from eBay and if so what are your thoughts on them now ?
From what I can determine I have somewhere between 1.5" and 2" hangers and shackles on the front if I add the full 2.7" that they say these are do you guys think I need a 4" drop pitman arm and tracking bar
By dropping both the track bar and the pitman arm you will keep the geometry closer to stock whick will reduce the bump steer. The closer to level the 2 are the better. The track bar drop will also help to center the axle under the truck as the arm increases angle it will pull the axle to the drivers side. Or you could just add a adjustable track bar to center the axle if you dont feel that the bump steer has changed in your opinion from before the lift. How much movement in the steering wheel do you feel when you go over a large dip in the road. Does it feel like the truck wants to move the wheel right and left without you moving it when this happens.
With just the hangers and shackles the steering seems fine. m going to put the mini spring pack in this weekend, I was just wondering if there was a set height where you have to have both done. I think after adding spring pack I will be about 4" in the front.
