Recently put a set on my truck, I think it tows better and shifts nice when ur beatin on it..my only issue was that the driver's side bolt head is pretty much rubbing the fuel tank, road hammer, how'd u solve that? my truck is an ext cab long bed, I see urs is different. Just small issues what else can u expect with custom parts....get a set!!
The bolt itself, nutted from the inside, sits right above the skid plate about 1/4". The threads are a good ways below the tank itself.
If you can...try to loosen up your tank and skid plate (if equiped) and run your bolt from the backside so the bolt head is next to your tank. Might give you better clearance.
There is always room between the bolt and the holes. Loosen up everything fuel tank related and push it over and re-tighten. Trim the bolt ??
Thanks for looking! Maybe I'll try trimming the bolt since I have the bolt going from inside out
