I stumbled into a brand new universal 3 gauge pillar pod at my local Advance Auto for $37, but need to find the right color to match the stock grey interior on my '00 F350 CCLB 4X4. Is there a rattle can that matches the stock? Then on to getting my EGT, TFT and boost gauges. I would also consider two other gauges, so what other two would the gauge whores on here consider to be next in line? Drive pressure? Engine oil temp? Something else?
I don't know about the fit of the universal pods, but my glow shift pillar pod does not have the fit my buddy's does. I think he got the pod and gauges from autometer but I could be wrong. All I'm getting at is if fit and finish is important going with a proper pod may be the way to go.
Fit isn't too bad as-is, and it can be heat molded a bit to make it even better. Now to get the gauges for it, and consider whether to add others. And a big THANK YOU to cshsrh!
Yup I use AutoMeter Phantom II's all full sweep and they are fine. Fuel Pressure it top gauge close'st to my eye's.....I think I'm going to dump some of those in favor of just the Apillar and CTS
