I bought the my truck about a year ago 2008 250 4x4 ,35s, 4 or 5 inch lift ,and I also noticed 2 inch spacers so the front rides higher. Problem is I notice the axle is shifted or shifting to one side about 3 or 4 inches one tire is out the other is in, the steering is also pretty hard any suggestions would cool
If the trac bar on the truck is adjustable, then you should be able to center the axle with it. If it isnt, then I would recomend installing an adjustable one and use it to center the axle under the truck. Icon is a good one.
As far as hard steering, check to make sure nothing is worn out causing excess friction. Unless the 08 to 10 trucks are different Fords seem to very inconsistent on the size of tire they will turn when sitting still.
Mines an 02 and it wouldnt turn 35s until I added ram assist.
thanks Aron!! i checked its not adjustable im going to look in to getting a new one! as for the steering u r right i do have 35s mud terrain tires and they r like 14 in wide very noisy cant wait to get some all terrain
