I always drool when I see a real Shelby Cobra! Wouldn't mind owning one one day when I have the money. If you ever heard the story of how they came to be, I found it entertaining. Rest In Peace Sir.
Im a big ford fan and Shelby fan and this is the first Ive heard of it. I would have thought it would have been talked about on the news alittle. or maybe I missed it. Rest in peace Mr. Shelby.
I have also been a Ford fan all of my life. The very name Shelby always meant performance, speed and style. Always dreamt of owning a Shelby Cobra. The closest I have come was a 2003 Cobra and a few classic mustangs. I recently saw a show on West Coast Customs where they made over a new Cobra and presented it to Mr Shelby. I believe the intention was to duplicate the build and sell them as a limited edition. He will surely be missed. Mr Shelby made his passion a dream and lifestyle for generations. Never stopped until the day he passed. A lot of people don't know he was also one of the longest living heart transplant patients too.
