So I bought my Amarillo 2006 on halloween night. The only performance mod I've done is the edge juice tuner. It had already gotten the muffler deleted, and a cold air intake. Since that day prety much all I've done is apperance to "make it more me" as the wife would say. Tell me what you think so far.
First thing I did was remove the ladder/lumber rack. Second I changed grills and removed my running boards. (gonna get the fab tube boards when I can afford them). Third I changed my wheels, decided I didn't like the center caps so I took them off.
Next I tinted all of my lights and put on a rear light bar. Getting impatient waiting for taxes when I plan on getting my pre-runner style light guard for the front and recon lights all around.
Next I changed out my rear bumper with one I got for the old rims. Home made heavy duty bumper. Next day a buddy bought me a black front bumper to trade for my chrome front one and brush guard, put it on, decided to much going on in the front so I gave him the chrome bug/wind guard, and painted my grill. Any ideas let me know what you think. sn::ford:sn::ford:
Myself though... Not a fan of the tinted headlights and black around the grill. Rear bumper is too plain/industrial. Flares require a much larger tire and should be color matched to the body. Front bumper should be either all black or all yellow. Mirrors should be all black.
Ya, she's a work in progress, but it'll be coming along more and more. Ya I don't understand making an Amarillo a work truck either. But the dealer told me the guy had the rack on this one just to put his boat on when he went fishing. So who Knows I know it still has relatively LOW miles for an 06, 78,000.
