Finally i got my 96 f350 converted to diesel. Swap was straight forward. Lots made it sound difficult no way. Just glad i had a donor truck lol thanks to all that helped pics to come soon

its definitely easy....not saying its not a ####ton of work, but its simple if you know your way around a truck. I cant imagine how much of a nightmare it would have been without a donor though.
It. Was basic. All diesel parts are required. From all wiring as in lighting, dash, engine, and wiring running to the rear of the truck for fuel. We changed the fuel tanks, fuel lines, and even the filler was different. I wouldn't recommend swap without the donor at all. But for all that said its alto of work just buy a diesel wrong. We did in my drive way in 20 hours. Just getting the bugs out pictures soon
My neighbours a master mechanic and we had tools here at the house. Took engine and trans out in one piece. But it was two of us lol. I parted the diesel out and the

Having a donor truck makes these swaps easy. My buddy did an auto to stick swap on his 4x4 and having everything including the transmission doghouse, instrument panel and every nut, bolt and screw made it factory easy.
