I am looking into putting a set of warn premium hubs on my 1995 f250 4x4 powerstroke because i was driving to work today (and for some reason it decided to snow here) and i didnt have 4x4 at all and i was going up a nice steep hill where it would have been nice to have, i pulled the hill sideways all the way to the top. what would i need to get as far as kits or is it just buy a set of hubs and swap them out?
The manual hubs work fine. Just have to be sure to get the install kit for them as the nuts and other hardware are different from the auto hubs. Also takes a different size hub nut socket than the autos.
you can get conv. kits for anywhere from 200-300 bucks at a napa store
