Fuse blows with the pump unplugged. I bypassed the circiut and pressurized the system. It starts and dies right away. p0231 is the only code but that could be caused by the pump circiut being open, or shorted. Still can't get the truck to run for more than a second or two even with the circiut bypassed. I don't have AE on a working pc right now, or a fuel pressure guage on this truck, so Im a little frazzeld to sat the least. Im working on those two issues but in the mean time I thought I would ask for some brain storming ideas from ya'll.
PS, the fuse blows when the inertia switch is connected but not when it is unplugged. The wire diagrams elude to the circuit including the pcm after the inertia switch. Is it possible that the pcm has an internal short. Have not found an external one yet.
Problem found, the harness from the firewall that goes to the two main plugs under the fues panel (under hood) That harness is smashed up against the inside of the fender this causes chaffing and the wires to break.
