Lift Debate

Thinking about lifting my stock 04 ex-cab.

How big before having to rear gear? I was thinking about a 6" with 35's, but then the looks of the 8" with 37's looks good also. Of course money is a factor also. I don't want to have to add traction bars and what not. This a twice a weekday and weekend driven truck.

Those that have lifted... what did you like and dislike.

Thanks

If you dont tow then go with the larger tires.

If you tow 5000lbs or around there, stick with 35s.

From my personal prefrence. Things also depend on engine performance and mods aswell.

Just a thought if this is somthing that would interest you. I have rough country leveling springs in the front. Then I have bushwacker fenderflares that are over sized so the fenders were cut back but I am running 37s with no issues. Just somthing to consider I like to keep my center of gravity a little lower but like the big tires.
