ive got an a pilar pod with trans temp, oil temp, egt. wanting to add boost gauge. like the look of steering column pod but have heard bad things about fit,not to mention they dont list them for a 05. thinking of just getting a black mounting cup from autometer and screwing to column, but really would like cleaner fit. please post some pics and give me some input.
Don't beleave everything you read, mine is an 06 and it fits just fine 1 Gauge Column Pod (AT)
just one question the 05 has a boost gauge and they are right on the fuel pressure gauge is just as important as ECT-EOT because under 45lbs pressure at WOT you are killing your injectors at 300$ a pop that adds up real quick.

how does it attach i also hear it comes with adhesive tape to attach and doesnt have the screws for the lower panel.would you mine sending me some pics of yours. im going to pm you my cell number if that would be easier for you to get me some pictures. thanks
4 pillar is worth it. you should have a factory gauge on an 05. its really only worth it to install a boost gauge on an 05 and up if you are going to go bigger on the turbo...
I've been thinking about adding an analog boost gauge just because I'm running a the SRL with a pmax, and I've hear the map doesnt give correct readings if your not stock so I am curious what my real boost is.
There is also a 3 gauge pod for under the dash. Oh and the steering column one will fit great. I have it on my 06 and it's great. I use it for fuel pressure. And as everybody else said you have a great boos gauge already. In the dash under the tach.

I've had both analog and the edge insight cts and the pid's were the exact same on all my sct tunes.
Might just be the older edges that read wrong...I talked to an edge tech and he said the new edges read correctly regardless if whether you are tuned or stock.
my Edge CTS reads the same as my analog boost gauge tuned or not. I was getting the fittings together to hook my boost gauge up to my degas bottle to monitor coolant pressures
This is the problem I have some say they arent the same and some people say they are. Just for clarification purposes you guys who said that your analog read the same tapped in the the intake elbow and didnt just T off the map correct?

To add to this, Eric from Innovative and Matt from Gearhead have both posted about this in the past. IIRC it's only their Xtreme tunes that have this issue. It has something to do with how they have to scale the MAP and the IPR inputs in the tunes.
good to hear. I'm running the srl pmax tune so I might add an analog gauge or I was thinking of adding another pressure gauge to my cts and running it off the elbow so I can get the true boost and still be on my cts. Then I could compare the two side by side.
