I been thinking about added some more forward light so i can see on the back roads. I thought about doing the quad light mod and possible added hids lights to it or 9005 bulbs to give some extra light. If i do it i will have it wired to its own switch. If you have any night pics with the lights that would be great. Thanks guys Brad
you should also check your state laws on how many points of light that can be on at one time...... i am pretty sure its only 4 where I live..... so that means 1 set of fog lights and low beams or just the high beams.
Typically nobody is going to bother you as long as you turn them off when there is traffic. I don't think anyone would pull you over anyways for the stock fog lights they are pretty much worthless for light output. Unless you throw some HID's in there. Or have them completely pointed up in the air.
In my state, only two are allowed. But EVERYBODY has to run their fog lights. I don't know why people think that it is cool to run with their fog lights on. It drives me nuts.

If you put HID's in your headlights. You could have (8) OEM foglights on and not even know it. In fact mine are brighter then the (4) Hella Lights I have mounted behind my grille.
If you were to replace those OEM foglights with a couple of those LED lights, you wouldn't even need any other lights. It wouldn't be that hard to bolt those into the bumper where the stock OEM fog lights are.
I wouldn't waste my time adding the OEM fog lights.
Im running 8k HID's in all the fog lights and 6k HID's hi/low beam. I do notice a difference but it could be better i have two different sets of hid brands in the fog lights which i can tell a difference between. The two center ones have a different brand of lights so i think if i get the same brand it will be better. I have ran just fog lights and run down the road but it doesnt take long for people to flash there high beams. Over all im happy with doing it. This is a pic from inside just with 2 fog lights and headlights. I will try to get a pic with everything.
Good information. I think the only way to go is HID's if you want those to do anything. Mine don't have HID's and they just disappear in my headlights.
im not a fan of hids. Around my area its like the highschool thing to do now is run hids. Nothing againest anyone running them on here. I only way id do hids is if it was white and not blue.
Layson thank you for the pics. Could i get a pics with the 2 fogs only? Thanks
As long as you stay with the lower number they won't be blue at all. You won't even know they are HID's.
