ok i know its been done and posted on here before i have read 1 thread that was like 22 pages but it never said how it was done.. i have everything hooked up i just need to know how far the spark should be from the line and what size line was used im using 3/16 and what was used to make it a constant spark.. im using a turn signal relay.. its sparking and its pumping the pane.. just not fire out the stacks
To drive your igniter:
Take a "bosch" relay.
Connect switched power to the "30" terminal.
Connect a ground to the "85" terminal.
Connect the "87a" and "86" terminals together, and connect to ignition coil.
Ground the other side of the coil.
If you've wired it correctly, the relay coil will energize, pull down the "wiper" and cut power to itself, releasing the pull, allowing the NC contact to reconnect.....repeatedly resulting in an annoying as f* buzzing as well as a pulsing output which should drive your ignition coil. Good luck and post up if it works.
