Before anyone tells me to search i did. All i can find is new model wheels going onto old models my question is will a 2003 pattern 16.5diameter procomp rock crawler wheels fit a 2005 model 250? thanks ullover:
Since your going old to new its unlikly any wheel spacers will be required.
The brakes are larger on the coil sprung trucks, making the 17 inch wheels necessary, but there was someone running 16.5 weld on a coil sprung truck. I seems to depend on the taper that the inside of the wheel was manufactured to.
i bought a set of procomp 16.5 with the hmmwv tires... they wont fit so i gotta pick up a set of spacers. wheres the best place to purchase them? thanks everyone for the input
They won't clear the brake calipers in the front. That's the reason you need 17"'s minimum. Sorry to burst your bubble!
