very interesting jeff.
so blending oils, nets different results alot of the time.
when i first started blending,i assumed that once you made it correctly
it would allways be the same formula, but im finding out different.

im going to have to become more scientific about it like you are.
im going to start with one of thease

Re: Blending Stale Gasoline with Waste Oil

Yes, Dave, I had originally worked under the premise that anything would blend, and 20% solvent to 80% oil was a rule. It is a pretty good one, but there are a great number of variables. I have two more videos on this topic that I plan to post as soon as I ahve them edited.

The tank looks good. Do let us know if you buy one and use it. If you like it, I might order one myself.

I agree, Anthony, a domed or coned shaped tank makes all the difference for settling.

Re: Blending Stale Gasoline with Waste Oil

Hello all,

I've seen sheet metal cones ready to weld on a 55 gallon drums, there was a post somewhere here that one used one, and the next post was that someone else found such a thing at their local farm supply or so they called it a "deer feeder" or something,

I can't remember which post it was, but i could do with the link to their farm supply...

Bart
