Hey guys, our truck has hit almost 250k excellent miles. The truck is walking a bit on the road so its time to address a couple of issues with the front end. I am gonna order from the tire shop a ball joint kit (we are still on stock joints), and that complete tie rod end kit with drag link.

I am curious if there is anything else I need to address while im in there.

Over the past year, here is a list of whats new:
Bilsteen 5100s
steering stab. shock
sway bar bushings
Wheel assy.
Warn premium manual hubs
cryo rotors
Michelin A/Ts
Steering fluid flushed with Mobil 1 atf

1. Also what is that support bearing for the drive shaft about midway back called and is it a good time to replace that given the mileage.

2. Is it common for these trucks to have a rythmic "hop" around 45 miles an hour. steering wheel stays straight with it.

thanks for your time and knowledge, looking forward to your replies..

The bearing kn the middle of the drive shaft is called the carrier bearing, the hop u get around 45 mpg it what I had. I just replaced all three u joints and the carrier bearing. On my truck and what a difference! All the vibration is gone.
