Hey guys. i was just curious if a Factory Steering stabilizer will help my truck at all. im on a limited budget right now as im getting married next month so a dual setup is out of the question. i have all the brackets for a factory stabilizer and all i need to do is buy a shock for it. i have a leveling kit with 37's on my truck and a bit of bump steer. will the factory stabilizer help at ALL untill i can get a dual kit?? thanks guys
I dont have a lift or big tires but mine was broke when I bought the truck and replaced it and noticed that the steering was tighter on the interstate. Not as prone to bump steer either.
saveup and buy a dual kit, i still have the factory single on my truck and it sucks. im only runnin a 295/65/18 which is a 33''. im gonna start saving for a dual setup
Bumpsteer is from your draglink and tracbar not working together. Fix that first. Might be anything from worn bushings, rod ends, or not being parallel.
you can always get an aftermarket single, like a rancho or skyjacker...it'll be better than the fatory one..
i ran a skyjacker single with 38s on my 97 and it worked fine...cheap to i think less than $50
