The white boxes are a 40" & 20" Rigid LED Light Bars:
The bumper is the same design as this. Just with a black skid plate, a lower light bar hoop for the LED bar, and a spot in the skid for the 20" LED bar.
The bumper should be here the tail end of next week.
I already know this bumper will not be for everyone. However, I have always wanted to build a prerunner inspired SuperDuty and this is the route I chose for this truck. I am running chase/support this year in the Baja 1000 too so I'm stoked to see how these Rigid lights turn out.
Not really. The stock bumper really isnt too strong. If you hit something hard enough to rip suspension components off the bottom, Id be more worried about surviving the crash then my truck. Just my opinion.
It looks good from the side but the front.. Idk it is like tooo much is exposed that you can see.. Like if the bars going out to each side had a piece of 3/8's filling the holes
I reallly like where this is going Jesse. It's really good to see someone putting serious thought and planning into a truck as opposed to just throwing a big lift and wheels and tires on it. I'm curious like djbp, what's in the plans for the rear bumper? I know you're not going to leave it chrome....
The only other thing I'd be headed for would be FiberWerx fenders/bedsides if they ever come out with some.
ADD is a little ways off from their rear one but when it's done I'll be using that as well. The tire carrier is an N-Fab unit that goes into the bed. I want to keep the tailgate because of the backup camera.
i have mine hooked up to the upfitter. They dont draw hardly anything.
