I have an 08 350 srw. I put a 6" BDS 4-link in the front and had a company in birmingham make some springs for the rear and added a 1" block to make the stance perfect. I love the way it looks but the ride is terrible. It bucks really bad when i go over concrete bridges but when I am pulling a heavy load the ride is fine. I need some ideas on how to lift the rear without sacrificing the ride quality. I was thinking about kelderman 4 link with bags. I am not a huge fan of blocks so any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. The local shop tells me that any of the "high arked springs are going to ride ruff" but i hear of to many people bragging about how there truck rides like a caddy. I am running 37s on 20" monsters. Do i need to take out the BDS and start over front and rear??
The stock rear springs on those ride pretty well. If you do a full leaf replacement, I would recommend a set of Deaver springs. They certainly arent the cheapest but they will ride good and have the least chance of sagging. If you stick with your stock leafs, you can do a rear shackle flip kit and set of blocks with an offset pin to re-center your axle. This would keep your block size down if thats what your worried about. Another option would be a traction bar/block combo which would prevent the possibility of spitting the block out. Do you still have your stock springs? That would be the way to go. Stick them back on and get a set of traction bars/blocks and be done with it. Take a look at One Up Offroad.
Yeah your first problem was getting a local place to build you a set of leafs. I have yet to hear of a local shop building leafs that ride nice. On my 6" lift I run a 5" block, removed the overload and 1 leaf out of the stock leaf pack. Than have air bags set at 15-20lbs to level the rear of the truck out. I also have traction bars. If I was you I would go the same but with One Up Offroad blocks with traction bar bracket.

Reality is, Ford Dodge and Chevy have used rear blocks for 40 years. If this were a failure point they would have changed the design. They use the blocks to improve the ride quality by keeping the spring arch to a minimum. They also use the block to get ride height at a desired level.
