Finally picked up a set of 18x12 pacers that I've been looking for. Went to mount them up and the factory lug nuts are too big. My friend said I need conical lug nuts. Is that what they are called? I want to know what to ask for when I go up to the shop tomorrow. Thanks
I thought I needed acorn style as well but it turned out I needed conical lug nuts. The threads were 14mm x 1.5, I think the earlier trucks were 14mm x 2.
I got them used but Pungo Offroad in Virginia Beach has them in stock. After Pacer stopped making the 185 pungo bought the mold and now they are the only place that has them.
My local tire shop had them sitting on the shelf... lots of them. Not an uncommon nut or problem!
