That this has been discussed to death already, but going through the old threads didn't really answer my question. I'm referring to the dreaded "death wobble". What I'm trying to figure out is if it really only applied to 4wd trucks, or is 2wd had it happen too. My dads 2wd 03 dually has something serious going on upfront. You hit a bump at 50 mph and something starts shaking violently, steering wheel jumping back and forth. Scary stuff! Happens when you get on the brakes hard too. I know his rotors are slightly warped which helps get it going, but it'll damn near run you off the road. If DW happens with 2wd's as well then that may be his problem, but if its primarily in 4wd's, then he has major issues. I've checked everything up front, and it all seems tight ( ball joints, tie rods, all bushings, etc). what do y'all think?
