Ive got an aluminum wheel that has broken off two studs and wore the knurling off 5 of the studs to where the stud spins with the nut... any good ways to go about gettin these five nuts broke loose from the studs so i can pull the wheel and replace the studs? Its on the rear of a 84 ford f250
seems like pulling a rear hub with the wheel on is going to be a lot of work, if even possible. Get a cutting torch, and burn the studs off. It'll take under 5 minutes. Then press new studs in. Easy breezy.
haha might break the dodge in half tryin to yank the wheel off a ford... wheel was shot so i cut the wheel with a cut off wheel then cut the studs...thanks for the suggestions
