Finally got the new combination on the track, this is going to be a learning experience. Launches were terrible, best 60' if I remember right was a 1.9x (previous best was 1.72 with the old setup). Video (if it came out) and slip data tomorrow...then I will probably spend a few hours looking over the datalogs.
Made 3 passes. First was just a test launch and wasn't even remotely close to being worth posting about. Second pass was 1/8 mile only because an accident earlier in the night had taken out part of the guard rail down track. Last was full 1/4 mile pass (see video above) after guard rail repair was completed.
You can see in the video that I'm still fighting keeping the truck in the beams and spooling up for launch, it wants to slide the locked up front tires really bad (which killed my 60' and probably added .2-.3 to the pass). When I get that licked and can build some more boost for launch it will come around for sure.
Thanks. PMR motor is gone (came out still running though), "built" engine is in, compounds, 400/400s, cage. There's more in it, just a quick look over the logs tells me we have too much fuel...800 degrees EGT with 400/400s and the pedal on the floor at 4psi of boost...surprised it didn't just stall.
Awesome runs. Glad to see you getting the truck out there. Pm gollonbait, maybe he can help you with the pinion brake he has on hiw truck. It holds the truck no problem
Driveline brake has been on my "to do" list for a while...I just really didn't want the hand lever. Have been debating doing a second set of calipers on the rear axle so I could leave them on the pedal brake. We have some things to think about for sure.
Thanks! Wastegates need adjustment work, need to make some tuning changes...but it's a start. Truck goes back to the chassis guy next week to get my new chromoly ladder bars fitted and setup (don't trust the crappy ones in there now with this much power) and the crotch belts installed so I'm allowed to go quicker than 11.49. That gives me time to get the tuning updated and spend some qualty time with the datalogs.

If 10s are in my future, I'll get there slow. I could probably spray it now and get it there, but I want to get the "fuel only" tuning right first then work torward the drugs.
