IDM Relay
Where is the IDM relay located? Did a search and the question has been asked numerous times but no answer ever given. I am guessing it is in the under hood fuse box.

Its in the cab fuse box.. I cant remember which one. open the access panel and it has everything labeled with a number, and in the owners manual it says. Let me know if your missing either and I'll go out and check.

Thanks Andy. Is there a procedure for testing whether a relay is working correctly or not? With this relay, if the truck is running, does that mean the relay is working? I am trying to troubleshoot a P1668 at cylinder contribution test and a P1298 during a buzz test.

Yeah, if the truck is running, the relay is working. Pretty much every relay in the truck is the same relay. I swap the cooling fan relay for trouble shooting. I also carry a spare or three with me. Cost somewhere around 7 bucks at O'Reilly's.
