Guys my truck is white with gray bottom, with black an grey pinstripe. On the back of the bed, I have about 2 inches of pinstripe that has peeled off. I went to dealership guy i'n parts told me I would be alot better off getting from someone else, that dealership would be really high.. Anyone no where I can get some pinstripe cheaper than ford would sale it for?
Your not going to find stripe tape to match the factory stripe unless a body shop has a piece left over from a factory kit. Like a needle in a haystack.
I had the same problem with my '01 Lariat LE a few years ago. I ended up getting the color code (for the tape) from Ford, and then having a paint shop mix me up a touch-up bottle. I then found an actual pinstriper to use that paint to repair the section. It came out flawless, and cost me about $30 to fix.
Ford wanted like $175 for the stripe kit, said it only cam in "whole sides", and I needed like 6".
