Completed Project Pictures

Hello. I have been informed of this site by a few different people and thought I'd join and post a recently completed project we have built. It's called Dominator and is an '02 Excursion Limited 7.3 PSD.









It has 30" of lift at ride height and is adjustable from 25-40" via air ride. The engine has an estimated 500 RWHP. Here is a list of mods done on it. Many of the parts were purchased through some of the sponsors of this site.

Forged Rods in place of stock Powder Metal Rods
ARP Head Studs and Main Studs
Balanced Rotating Assembly
Comp Cams Valve Springs
Fluidampr
Terminator Engineering HPOS
Dynomite Diesel Performance B Code .0075 Injectors
Turbonetics Ball Bearing Drop In Turbo with High Flow Exhaust Outlet Housing (ceramic coated)
Non Exhaust Backpressure Valve Turbo Pedestal
Spearco 6.0L Intercooler
Diesel Power Products Intercooler Hose Kit
ITP Diesel Regulated Fuel Return Kit & Boost Annihilator
FASS Fuel System and Supply
DP- Tuner, Custom Files by Jody Tipton
MBRP 4” 304SS Cool Duals Exhaust system w/ 5” dual wall tips- custom made for this truck by piecing together the system with universal mandrel bends and then sending the mock up parts to MBRP in order to be made in Stainless Steel. The whole dual system is made up of only 4 pipes- downpipe, mid pipe Y, and both tails.

Intake Air Heater Delete
Auto Meter Instrumentation
Pyrometer (on steering column), Boost, Tranny Temp, Axle Temp, Transfer Case Temp (A- pillar)

Transmission
Built by John Wood Automotive
Billet Torque Convertor
6.0L tranny cooler
Torque Converter Manual Lock Up Switch
Tail housing mounted parking brake.

Driveline
SCS Gearbox 4WD quick change transfer case w/ air shift front disconnect- uses factory dash mounted 4WD selector to operate and has indicator light on A pillar gauge mount.
1480 Spicer driveshafts
2.5 ton Rockwell Military Axles- 6.72 gear ratio
2” Ouverson Engineering and Machine Violator Series axle shaft kits
Ouverson Ultimate Lockers (front and rear)
Ouverson Billet Deuce locking hubs
4 wheel disk brakes w/ 4 wheel ABS
15” rotors with front 4 piston calipers- brake system built by Kat Kustoms, LLC

Suspension
Kat Kustoms built custom triangulated 4 link- 30” of lift at ride height.
Adjustable height 25-40” of lift
Firestone Air Springs on trailing arm mounts
Bilstein Black Hawk 9300 bypass shocks
Custom built steering system

Tires/ Wheels
54” tall Michelin 24R21 XZL truck tires
21x18 Stazworks 2 piece beadlocked wheels

On board air and bag control system
Filled, Smoothed, and Painted Frame
’06 Harley Davidson front conversion
Kat Kustoms auxiliary head lights and tail lights
Kat Kustoms built Pneumatic fold away steps at each door

I'd like to thank guys like John Wood, Jody Tipton, Ross @ Dynomite, and Kevin @ Black Widow for helping with advice on setting up the engine with proper parts. The truck sure does run and drive nice.

What a waste of money. Whatever floats your boat, I guess. Love to see it off road in the rocks with the center of gravity. I would give about 30 seconds before it is on it's lid like a tortoise. Why wife would say, " Trying to compensate for something?"
