at least you know what it looks like now..there is a not so helpful pic on page 42, #88..
the IPR valve is on top of the HPOP, which is on the top of the rear of the engine, between the heads..the connector faces to the DS..It's tucked under the turbo pretty good..
what's leading you to IPR? they're a fairly reliable componant..anything else besides the int. starting issue..
its a friends truck 04 f250 it has studs, egr delete, intake elbow, gauges, intake, exhaust and sct from elite. it has the problem even if it is in the stock program and it throws no codes. everything we've read on the forums points to either the hpop or IPR. he has been driving it the past couple days but then out of nowhere it won't start. we discussed it and it would make sense that valve in the IPR could hang up , possibly due to the increase in demand for oil when running the programmer in the higher settings. if it was the hpop it would have problems when it was running and not everynow and again.
Before my HPOP when out it wouldnt start sometimes as well, low oil pressure finally after a couple weeks it finally gave out and wouldnt start period.
My friends truck has been running the past four days with no starting issues.he ordered an IPR and the upgraded turbo oil drain yesterday. does anyone make an upgraded hpop.
