i know zane at wide open performance it taking the motor out of his white truck with the silver flames and putting it in a ford lightning.
that might be top secret but im sure its doable.
It could handle the weight. I've seen them do ok with a plow, custom plate bumper and grill guard, etc put on the front. Unfortunately depending on how you drive they will wear faster. Not sure how well the wheel bearing will do, but if your not off roading I think you would be fine...
It will sit lower in the front with out some help from air bags or stiffer / lift springs.
