How many mpg should a 6.4 diesel get

I have a 08 6.4 and it's gets around 10 to 12 mpg around town is that good? I thought I should be getting around 16 to 18 thanks

I have a 2010 F350 and I was getting about 14 in town and 18 on the highway. Just installed tuning so not sure what it is now.

I know the job 1 08's did not get the best mileage.

Your about right if your stock

2011 F-150 FX 4 Luxtury package, Eco boost on order

I got 12 stock in a job 1.
Now I get 19 with DPF delete and KEM 210. My dash said 44mpg

I dont have my fuel book with me, but 10-12 is about right for stock.

i got about 13.5 stock no towing was afraid to check it towing lol.
tuned i get in where from 15.5 to 17 city driven, the only trup i took was up to tennesse and it got about 17 but was moving on pretty good.

2008 got a new flex pipe installed. S-b intake, 4in dp back exhaust, gear head tunes All deletes done now.
flow pro hot pipe. CCV mode.

RPM's kill the 6.4 on mileage. 1600 seems to be the best mileage, GV OD would probably help any of us who go 75+mph.

i get 14 tuned. But I am on 35s and typically short trips

2003 Ford Ranger on 42s, COs, Caged, Fully built 5.4L DOHC, blah blah

1997 F350 CCLB 4WD Auto. Basics 4" Exhaust and 6637 filter.

Hand calculated in the summer the best i got was 24mpg at 70mph. from 8 mpg stock to tuned with the spartan 250 tune.
