Re: how many miles on a 6.0 ????

I know of a few high mileage 6.0's anywhere from 250k on up to 500k

The 500k mile truck has had zero issues except for a ball joint replacement

Re: how many miles on a 6.0 ????

I only have 75,000 on my '05. I can't afford a new one while my kids drag racing so it needs to last at least 3 more years. Then he will be in college so there's 4 more years.

The owner of hagerstown tire has a 2006 6.0 with 50,000 miles. The turbo, intercooler, 2 egr coolers, a oil cooler, a bunch of injectors and some miscellaneous sensors have all been replaced under warranty. It only tows occasionally and is bone stock.....

Official PSN special needs duramax guy! ASE cert. mastertech 2004 LB7, Efi-live with tunes from THE idahorob, s366 from EPR, head studs, Dmax-4 transmission kit, airdog 165, tie rod sleeves, intake, exhaust, gauges.

Re: how many miles on a 6.0 ????

1 more. A local contractor has a 2004 6.0 in a dumptruck (so it is worked hard). 60,000 miles, bone stock. Transmission, transfer case, two sets of head gaskets, a turbo, several egr coolers and lots of injectors have went bad, so far the only thing hes paid for is a starter though. I can give you a bunch more horror stories and im sure other members on here can too but there are a decent number of success stories too so idk..

Dang I wish I knew because I would buy a few myself.

My inlaws get GM vehicles under employee discounts and have offered to get me and the wife one on the cheap. I always just said " no thanks ".

The shirt would just chap the ole mans a$$ something fierce!!!!
