Re: DieselTechRon's ToolBox ForSale

That is quite the tool box, and for fifteen grand, a hell of a steal. It would be nice, but I move around way too much to have anything that big. For anyone curious, yes there is a huge difference between a professional quality box and a Milwaukee or husky.

I dumped my snap-on over in the back of a pickup one day. It tore the hook right off the truck and down it went. Socket drawer flew open and spilled sockets all over the road. A husky would not have survived without replacing a few drawers. The snap-on didn't even dent. I own all three of the brands I just mentioned. My husky sits at home with a 600 lb lathe bolted to it, so it's pretty solid, and I actually love my Milwaukee box. For 600 bucks, I'll never buy another snap-on box again, but make no mistake, a snap-on box is the toughest, highest quality box there is. Cornhole makes a good box too.

Just imagine how big his tool bill was.

I'm sure that's where all of the tools went, the dealer probably repoed them.

One things for sure, it's the last box you'll ever need. Only problem is no tech makes enough to drop 15 grand cash. Anybody who has that kind of dough will have a higher paying job and would never need a box like that. But just because they don't need it, doesn't mean they won't want it.

Yeah it must! I couldn't help but notice the little casters it sits on when the kid showed the scuff marks and think "I ain't pushing that thing around loaded"... Even on a polished epoxy coated concrete floor...

Oh you know it. My box is ridiculously heavy when loaded. That box is easily three times the size of mine. I can't even think of how you would move that thing. It won't fit on any of the tool trucks I've seen. I know the thing is modular, so it's taken apart to move. It's actually a bunch of different boxes bolted together. Snap-on boxes are sweet that way. As long as you got the money, you can build as big of a box as you want. 300 bucks a week for the next eternity.
